If you aren’t a Muppets fan, then this probably isn’t for you. For the rest of us, the Green Album arrives in stores and digitally today and it features a number of artists presenting their take on classic Muppets songs. OK Go went so far as to do a video for their cover of the Muppet Show Theme Song.

There’s a brand new poster for Disney’s The Muppets movie that features all the recognizable characters, plus Amy Adams and Jason Segal.
With the help of three fans, the Muppets must reunite in order to save their old studio from a greedy oil tycoon.
Much like The Muppet Movie, there are a crap ton of cameos with everyone from Mila Kunis and Selena Gomez, to Jack Black and Katy Perry. Personally, I think it would be awesome if Steve Martin returned… Orson Welles, not so much…

Fraggle Rock 2 out this week
The adventures of The Jim Henson Company’s beloved Fraggles continue this summer with the release of the graphic novel Fraggle Rock Volume 2: Tails and Tales, from publisher Archaia Entertainment. Fraggle Rock Volume 2 expands upon the iconic television series, which is currently airing on Hub TV, taking readers back to the underground world of the Fraggles. Fraggle Rock Volume 2 is set to hit stores on July 15.

Here’s one for you. While we had a chance to see the Muppet Green Lantern trailer spoof this past week, here’s the movie poster Disney released to go along with movie spoofing campaign.
You are correct – Disney owns Marvel, which is the competition of DC, yet the movie makes us think of Green Lantern instead of the company owned comic publisher… the head spins.

Walt Disney Studios sent over the first image from the new The Muppets movie. I’m really not surprised that Jason Segal is in the movie, considering his love of puppets. The movie arrives in December 25, 2011.
