To celebrate the 100th issue of Ultimate Spider-Man, Marvel.com has created an awesome trailer that pretty much sums up the Clone Saga to date. The Clone Saga has become the most shocking thing to happen to Ultimate Spider-Man. Consequently, it is the worst thing to ever happen to the life of Peter Parker. Everything has been building towards this since the Ultimate Universe began back in Ultimate Spider-Man #1. Peter Parker’s father, long-thought dead, has returned. Another important person from Peter’s life also has seemed to cheat death as Gwen Stacy is back…but what horrific secret is the cause of…

Eternals #4 (of 6)

Or “How Can You Be Two Places At Once When You’re Not Anywhere At All?” Neil Gaiman is one of those writers who make people like me flap their arms in a complete brain-melting furor, finally and completely aware of what it is to know you’re never going to be the best writer around, and furthermore, you’re probably not only not in the ballpark, you’re stuck in the parking lot of the wrong team, wearing a tinfoil helmet, a home-made uniform, and wielding a football bat. If Neil Gaiman, as a writer, is the equivalent of Prometheus bringing fire from…

Confirmed: Terrence Howard is Jim Rhodes

Variety has confirmed what we reported on months ago – Terrence Howard will play Tony Stark’s buddy Jim Rhodes in the upcoming Iron Man movie. It’s pretty much accepted that, unless Iron Man turns into a huge bomb in the box office, the franchise and sequel potential is very high. In the comic Jim Rhodes takes over the helm of Iron Man when Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) takes some time off and eventually evolves into the character War Machine. “The suit is purely an innovative creation, so this is Marvel meets Tom Clancy technology,” Marvel Studios production…

Blade Resurrected?

I previously reported that Spike TV decided to can Blade: The Series for a second season due to declining ratings. Today I get word from Neil Jackson (via is MySpace page), that New Line is still behind the series and is currently shopping it around to be picked up by another outlet. FX? SciFi? G4? Any of these should jump on the chance to pick this series up to play during one of their off season moments. Since Eureak on SciFi is off for a season, now would be a perfect time for Blade to slip in and continue its…

Ultimates 2 #12 (of 12 or possibly 13)

Or “How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Drop A Book.” First off, I suppose that I should introduce myself: Hey, I’m Matthew. You may remember me from such movies as “Bloody Mess On The Highway,” and “Calling All Lumberjacks.” I’m also known occasionally as The Lizard King, the twisted mind behind ‘The BMF List,’ now seemingly lost to the mists of time and internet.
