Last week, word leaked that the script to the Avengers movie had been “borrowed” from Samuel L. Jackson, and offered up for sale to the highest bidder.  While stolen scripts and leaked information are nothing new, Marvel decided to stick it to the thief by halting production of The Avengers to rewrite the scenes that have been compromised. There’s been no word on if the thief has been apprehended, but if I had a script that needed work, a stolen script story seems like a great scapegoat. via Digital Spy

Marvel sent over a sneak peek of The Art of Mike Deodato hardcover that arrives in stores in July. “Since I was a kid, I’d loved art books collecting my favorite artists. More recently, I’ve been thrilled to see works of comic book artists taken more seriously,” said Deodato. “To be featured among talents such as Joe Quesada and Marko Djurdjevic in a book like this makes me awfully happy. My dad, who bought me all my early Frazetta hardcovers, was beaming with pride when I told him Marvel was doing one about me. I feel honored.”
