Though I’m patiently waiting for LEGO to send over some high-res images of their upcoming LEGO SUPER HERO line, The Source, actually posted a pic that not only includes Batman (whom we’ve seen before in LEGO form), but also Superman and Green Lantern – SWEET! WOW! I was pretty excited about the announcement that LEGO has teamed with Warner Bros., but now we learn that the toy manufacturer has also teamed with Marvel Entertainment. While I liked what LEGO did with the Batman sets from a few years ago, I was always hoping for more from the toy company.  Looks like that wish is coming true as DC and LEGO have expanded their relationships allowing LEGO to access the complete library of comic book characters and stories to launch DCU Super Heroes. The multi-year licensing deal, made through Warner Bros. In April 2011, LegoLand in Southern California opens Star Wars MiniLand that includes 2,000 models from the franchise, all built in miniature – with LEGO! Check that out – 1.5 million LEGO bricks used to build all the models.  The execution arena contains 30,000 bricks, and took five weeks to build.  Some people really do have the best jobs in the world!
