Fabian Nicieza to leave Legion Lost, Tom DeFalco steps up

DC Comics has announced that after issue six of Legion Lost, Fabian Nicieza will be stepping down from writing duties.  I’m sure the news of his departure will upset some, but there is some good news. Tom DeFalco is taking over for the next story arc.

When I need to find someone to showcase for the Art Appreciation Moment of the Day, and I need to do it quickly, Gene Gonzales seems to be one of my go to artists.  He’s recently been working on some Legion of Superheroes art, and I’m taken by his Shadow Lass piece.

SDCC’11: HOLY SH!T Legion of Superheroes and Star Trek crossover in October!

Talk about your Legion Lost! DC’s Legion and IDW’s Star Trek are having a huge crossover event!

This news came out of nowhere, and is sure to have more than a few people sit up and wonder just what in the heck is going on in the world of comics.  I must say, I’m rather impressed, and can not wait to dive into this six-issue mini-series.
