It’s been far, far, far, far, far too long since we’ve taken a look at art from Josh Howard. The Dead@17 creator has been busy sharing many of his commission works on his websites, which includes old favorites, and even New 52 creations.

Josh Howard announced he will be the artist on an upcoming IDW Ghostbusters one-shot called “CON-volution”. The issue will be written by Jim Beard and Kieth Dallas. Since the title features CON so prominently, it comes as no surprise then that the issue arrives this summer.

We haven’t featured Josh Howard in some time, so today we’re offering up his interpretation of Storm.
Haven’t featured much of Josh Howard on the Major Spoilers website in the last couple of months, and it’s time to rectify that problem now with a series of images Josh has created using cardboard as his medium of choice.

Josh Howard unveiled his new sketchbook the other day. It’s available for pre-order now from his website, but will have its official debut at the San Diego Comic Con.

DEAD@17 creator Josh Howard celebrates his acclaimed horror series’ move to Image Comics in a big way with a World Premiere party for DEAD@17: AFTERBIRTH at Lone Star Comics in Southwest Arlington on Saturday, June 13th!
“Launching DEAD@17: AFTERBIRTH at Lone Star Comics feels right as they’ve been supporters of mine since I started,” Howard said. “The mini-series acts as a new beginning for the series, yet also ties in together threads long time fans have been following for a long time. Nara’s new role in The Zodiac is going to really shake things up and bring out some more skeletons from the series’ closet.”
Josh Howard has posted a sneak peek of his upcoming Dead@17: Afterbirth series up at his website. While Dead@17 has been around for a while, it was previously published by Viper Comics. Afterbirth is the first series being published by Image Comics. Take the jump for a peek.

Josh Howard has announced he will collect ever art book and sketchbook he’s done into one giant collection. Can’t wait for the order information to be announced.

Josh Howard posted info on his website on the next Dead@17 series. Called Dead@17: Afterbirth, the four issue series begins in June from Image Comics.

Josh Howard and Image Comics have announced that Howard’s Dead@17 series is moving to Image. Dead@17 had previously been published with Viper Comics, but for some time now, the series hasn’t been showing up in the monthly previews.
Unfortunately, I’m not really in a position to comment on Viper’s issues, but it is my hope that eventually my other projects will follow Dead @ 17. But everything is still up in the air for the moment,” Howard said in an interview with Newsarama, “Most importantly, I just felt it was finally time to move on. Like you said, I had been there a while and I think I have built enough of a name for myself that it was time to see if I could swim with the big boys.”
This is an announcement that doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as it seems strange things are afoot at Viper Comics. For the last year or so, I’ve gotten a weird vibe from creators who were working with the company, even though I was told everything was fine. Dead@17 is one of the best known titles at Viper, and this move has to kick the company in the nards pretty hard. On the other hand, it’s great news for Image and for Josh Howard.
When the first issue is released under the Image banner, it will not be a reboot of the series. Image will print all the previous series in one volume for new readers.

We haven’t heard or seen anything from Josh Howard lately, that is until his latest round of sketch cards for the upcoming Star Wars Galaxy collection showed up on his website. Always loved his art style, especialy when drawing Natalie Portman Queen Amidala.
