The Iron Fist may have been the first of the Immortal Weapons to show his face, but he’s certainly not the last.  What’s even more amazing is that each of their stories has been as interesting as Danny Rand’s.  Fat Cobra’s tragedy, the Bride of Nine Spiders’ horror, even Dog Brother #1′s folk tale have all been interesting in their own right.  Now the spotlight turns to the beautiful, yet deadly, Tiger’s Beautiful Daughter…  Will the loveliest of the Immortal Weapons keep the streak going?

When the other celestial cities debuted a couple of years ago in Iron Fist, I doubted that their champions could really hold a candle to the might of the Iron Fist.  I figured that we’d see the brief Mortal Kombat competition end with Danny Rand’s ascendence and that would be it.  I was pleasantly surprised by the brilliance of Fat Cobra, and each issue of this series has been interesting to varying degrees.  So, how does Dog Brother #1 size up?

So, I have completed my daily labors, overseeing the dozen fellers and gals what make up the current workgroup to call themselves Team RamRod (“See, you’re Arkot Ramathorn… Ram. And I’m Rodney Farva… Rod. Team RamRod!”) and I am preparing to have some spaghetti and hang out with friends, but first I wanted to catch up with some of the many titles that I’ve neglected over the busy last days of August…
