Image comic Clone, from Robert Kirkman’s own Skybound Imprint, is being developed by NBC Universal for television. Written by David Schulner and illustrated by Juan Jose Ryp and Felix Serrano, Clone tells the story of Dr. Luke Taylor, who discovers that because of experiments performed by his estranged father, there are many genetic copies of himself — and they want his wife and unborn daughter. Schulner will write the pilot script and serve as executive producer alongside Kirkman and “The Walking Dead’s” David Alpert and David Engel. Clone marks the fourth television deal for Kirkman and Skybound, following AMC’s hit
Sometimes it pays to do a simple search. All those teasers Image has been sending out are indeed for a series called Dead Body Road.
A teaser image from Robert Kirkman’s Skybound has just made its way over to Major Spoilers. No information accompanied the image, but my money is on that we hear more news about what “Dead” means before San Diego Comic Con is over.
