IDW Publishing and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products are thrilled to announce a partnership to publish an exciting series of works based on the legendary series, THE X-FILES. IDW’s publishing plan includes reprinting collections of the classic issues published intermittently from 1995 through 2009, as well as creating brand-new X-FILES comics to launch in June 2013.
This week, Stephen and Matthew put Judge Dredd #3 under the microscope and ask the all important question, “Are you really The Law?”

IDW Publishing sent Major Spoilers the cover images and solicitation information for titles scheduled to arrive in April 2013.
With a white-hot ongoing series that simultaneously toasts the franchise while launching creative new ideas, and a collection of “micro-series” that focus on individual characters, it may only have been a matter of time before the first IDW TMNT mini-series hit the shelves. I am a real sucker for comic books featuring KISS. Maybe it’s just that Gene and his pals have created iconic comics-style images for their stage personas, maybe it’s a matter of loving the old Steve Gerber-penned Marvel Super-Specials, but I can seldom withstand the allure of the Fearsome Foursome in comic form. Add in the bonus of Martian monsters on parade, and you’ve got yourself one guaranteed sale. Will the book hold up to my expectations? Your Major Spoilers review awaits!

Kliban, Rube Goldberg, Jack Chick, Milt Gross, Siegel and Shuster, Will Eisner, Elzie Segar, Harvey Kurtzman, and many, many more tell you by drawing a comic or cartoon to explain about the cartoonist’s life?

There are times when I’ll be patrolling the Internet in my official duties as “That Guy Who Is Vaguely Notorious On The Intarwebz For That Thing” only to run across certain phenomena that exist at the edges of my metaphorical vision. The ‘Friendship Is Magic’ Brony/Pegasister communities are pretty vocal in their love of the animated series, and the copious amounts of affection lavished on the series triggered me to watch it with my child. While the Widget isn’t quite as much of a fan of FIM as she is of Gokaiger, she enjoyed it enough to develop a deep affection for Derpy Hooves. Issue #1 set sales and re-order records in comic shops across America, and while I wasn’t able to snag the first issue, I’m curious enough to look into this’n, which is likely to be one of January’s sales leaders. Ready or not, we’re headed to Ponyville, and your Major Spoilers review awaits!

IDW’s TRANSFORMERS SPOTLIGHT series focuses on the individual lives of the Autobots and Decepticons, often taking place before the war that tears their homeworld of Cybertron apart.
