While I haven’t read the original Game of Thrones books, and have only seen half of the first season of the HBO series, I’m loving what Dynamite Entertainment is doing with their Game of Thrones adaptation. There’s a lot of Game of Thrones stuff all over the place (including merchandise from Dark Horse Comics), and now HOB, Atlus, and Cyanide Studios are working on a RPG game based on the television series.
The game arrives next year on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

I’m not sure they’ve started shooting the second season of A Game of Thrones, but there is a teaser trailer that has appeared online.

It’s Friday and I really need a drink (yes, it has been THAT kind of week). Fortunately, the folks over at HBO have been furiously mixing up cocktails using the real Tru Blood Beverage from the hit cable series. Don’t worry, it’s not real blood, but rather blood red orange soda that is the inspiration for these adult beverages.
There are currently more than 300 registered superheroes in the United States… really. And they are the subject of an upcoming HBO documentary.
Superheroes debuts on Monday, August 8th at 9:00 PM ET.
