Hope everyone is enjoying the new season of Game of Thrones on HBO (That’s Home Box Office for anyone younger than 21). Though we usually reserve the Friday Sing-Along for bits that actually feature singing, we love showing off pop culture focused music whenever we can. Season 3 of HBO’s Game of Thrones premiers in just over a month so to get viewers ready for the action to take place in the Seven Kingdoms, an official poster and trailer have been released.

I’m kind of glad I’ve waited to watch the first season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, because now I’ll won’t have a huge wait for season two. And if the HBO trailer is any indication, this is going to great.
While I haven’t read the original Game of Thrones books, and have only seen half of the first season of the HBO series, I’m loving what Dynamite Entertainment is doing with their Game of Thrones adaptation. There’s a lot of Game of Thrones stuff all over the place (including merchandise from Dark Horse Comics), and now HOB, Atlus, and Cyanide Studios are working on a RPG game based on the television series. The game arrives next year on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
