Yesteray, on its official TRANSFORMERS Facebook page, Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) announced the induction of film industry legends Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg—the director and executive producer of the blockbuster TRANSFORMERS film franchise—into its TRANSFORMERS Hall of Fame. The second annual TRANSFORMERS Hall of Fame ceremony, which celebrates more than 25 years of “MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE” action, will take place during the 2011 TRANSFORMERS “BOTCON” fan convention in Pasadena, California, and will feature TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON director Michael Bay in person to accept his honor and share some special surprises with the audience.

TOY FAIR 2011: Evans and Hemsworth visit Toy Fair

Actors Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth stopped by Toy Fair in New York City yesterday to check out their likenesses in action figure form at the Hasbro booth.

The Captain America and Thor movies arrive in theaters this summer.  Captain America: The First Avenger toy line arrives May 16, 2011, and the Thor: The Mighty Avenger toy line arrives March 1, 2011.

TOY FAIR 2011: Transformers 3 cast member visit Hasbro’s Toy Fair showroom

Yesterday, we showed off the new line of Transformer toys from Hasbro.  As the show was closing, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed up with director Michael Bay, and the two checked out the new toys for themselves.

TOY FAIR 2011: Vintage is the word for Hasbro’s Star Wars toys

It won’t die no matter how hard George Lucas tries. The Star Wars toy line is just as prosperous as it’s ever been and this year there is going to be an emphasis on the Vintage line and the Clone Wars cartoon line.

TOY FAIR 2011: More than meets the eye in new Hasbro Transformers line

With the summer release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon coming soon it’s only natural that Hasbro focused most of its Transformers presentation on it. SDCC’10: Transformers test footage looks promising

During the Hasbro panel at Comic-Con International, Hasbro Studios showed off some test footage from the upcoming Transformers animated series.
