It’s the most wonderful time, of the year…
This has got to be one of the best weeks of the year. The spooky decorations are out, the little tykes are trying on their costumes for a night for mischief, and the dental industry is primed to make a killing over the next couple of months as kid’s teeth start falling out from candy rot. DC is getting into the act too, with an all new seasonal special that should spook us all.

Archie Gets in Spirit of Holiday
Halloween is not too far off – especially if you have visited one of those large retail chains recently – and Major Spoilers will have another costume contest this year with big prizes. Also getting into the Halloween spirit is Archie Comics, who sent us the cover images and solicitations for two “spooktacular” issues shipping in September.
Freddy v. Jason v. Ash Sold Out
Really? DC Comics has announced issues #2 and #3 have sold out and will be heading back to the printer for a second run.
“I’m both slightly stunned and incredibly gratified at the fan response to FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH,” says cowriter Jeff Katz. “Obviously, I always believed in the commercial and creative potential of this match-up, but to see it received with such intense enthusiasm has made for one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I feel like a proud father, and I’m incredibly happy for James, Jason and Thomas because I know this project means as much to them as it does to me. DC, Wildstorm and Dynamite have done a tremendous job with this book and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we appreciate the support — and the best is truly yet to come.”
The second printing of the issues will arrive February 13, 2008.
