Free Comic Book Day is coming soon, and Diamond Comic Distributors has announced the all important Gold Sponsors for the 2017 event.
It was only a couple of weekends ago that Batman Day was held for 2016. That seems to be turning into a successful yearly event at local comics shops! Coming at the end of October will be Halloween ComicFest, the fall’s version of Free Comic Book Day. It will be held on the last Saturday of the month, the 29th. There will be free comics and other treats galore at participating locations!

In it’s fifth year, Halloween ComicFest 2016 is expected to give away more than two million full-size and mini-comics at 1,900 locations around the country.
Last week, I talked about Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) being held this past Saturday, May 7. I managed to get to three different stores on that day, and I noticed a few things I wanted to talk about. Also, friends attended other locations, and they also gave me things to talk about as well!
If you are planning on going out and about this weekend for Free Comic Book Day, be sure to check out the Image Comics creators who will be signing across the country.
This Saturday is Free Comic Book Day across North America and the world – a day where participating comic shops give away comic books to anyone coming into their stores.
