The Flash TV show is about to return with a premiere entitled “Flashpoint.” So we pulled in Flash fan Sam Bashor of Sourcefed Nerd to break down the DC Comics Event Flashpoint and predict what parts of that story we may see on Season 3 of The Flash!
When it comes to the main villains of the Flash’s Rogue’s Gallery, we’ve seen all but Mirror Master, Abra Kadabra, and The Top on the television series. When season three begins, the only one we’ll be missing is Abra Kadabra, as it has been revealed a gender-flipped version of the The Top is now set to appear alongside The Mirror Master.
During the new CW season, all four of the DC Comics shows will crossover in a massive story event. Will it concern Flashpoint? Will it be a world shattering event that will necessitate a character making the (whisper) ultimate sacrifice? Stephen Amell, who plays Green Arrow, shared a behind the scenes photo that may be the best teaser for the coming season of shows.
Kevin Smith was head over heals last season when he directed an episode of The Flash for The CW. On his podcasts, he’s gushed about wanting to direct more DC television series, and he’s getting his wish as he will take on Supergirl and Flash in their new seasons.
For two seasons I’ve been waiting for The Flash creators to bring Mirror Master to the small screen. In season three, we’ll finally get the chance to see Sam Scudder.
