Ender Wiggin is on the colony planet Lusitania to Speak for the Dead. He has made some progress, but the Catholic Church is still standing in his way. Also, the Pequininos know he’s here with the Hive Queen and are demanding to speak with him. Learn more after the jump.
Ender Wiggin is a man once lauded as the savior of humanity, then denounced the cruel and heartless xenocide that murdered an entire race. The change was brought about by his own book, The Hive Queen, penned under the title Speaker for the Dead. Three thousand years later, Ender (thanks to relativity and light speed travel) has been called in as a Speaker for the Dead on the small colony Lusitania.
This will probably be of great interest to Ender’s Game fans, and more specifically fans of the Ender’s Game comic book series from Marvel Comics.Â The company announced fans can head on over to marvel.com/endersgame to see the pretty graphics, and read Ender’s Game: Battle School #1 and Ender’s Shadow: Battle School #1 for free.Â It’s all part of the promotion for the upcoming Ender’s Game: Battle School and Ender’s Shadow: Battle School Premiere HC editions arriving July 15, 2009. via Marvel
Woot!Â The next comic book adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game sereis is getting the treatment from Marvel.Â The company has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of Ender’s Shadow: Battle School #1, that follows the continuing adventures of Ender Wiggin.
