If you are a statue and maquette person, you know Artist Proofs are some of the rarest and hard to come by collectible. Electric Tiki has 50 signed Princess Daphne statues it is looking to get into your hands. During the ’80s, Daphne’s form titillated video game players and for those who still have a fondness for her, this might be the statue to get in 2011.
Priced at $199.99, Electric Tiki does expect a deposit of $25, even though the statue doesn’t ship until the summer.

Electric Tiki is one of those companies that quietly sits in the background all the while cranking out some very awesome statues. Over the last couple of weeks, the company has posted image of upcoming products, many of which will show up at the Sideshow Collectibles booth at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

The Shadow statue is coming from Electric Tiki in the 2009. No word on the price or what the front looks like, although there is a sketch up on the Electric Tiki website. I’m totally digging that a legion of people might be walking around with Shadow rings.

Those guys and gals at Electric Tiki really know how to take popular characters and turn them into magnificent maquettes and statues. Sideshow Collectibles has announced Electric Tiki will be taking Jessica and Roger Rabbit, as well as the characters from Rescue Rangers and giving them the Electric Tiki Tooned Up treatment.

What other property is Electric Tiki Toon-ing up in the company’s unique style?
You’ll have to take the jump to find out.

Electric Tiki released a tooned up version of the vampire slayer last year at the San Diego Comic Con. The company is back again with three more maquettes that include End of Days Buffy, Glory, and Dark Willow. Take the jump for a look at these beauties.

Electric Tiki has announced an agreement with Disney to produce a line of Disney characters in the unique Electric Tiki way.
The company posted the above image as the teaser of possible figures to come from the company, but you’ll have to take the jump to see the first figure to be produced.
Take a look at the Tick statue from Electric Tiki Design.

This is the final paint master of the statue. No word on release date, but my guess is around the big conventions.
Electric Tiki Design has posted a sneak peek of statues on display at this year’s San Diego Comic-con. New statues on the way include “Tooned-Up” Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mandrake the Magician, Prince Valiant, and Mighty Mouse II.

Take the jump for a peek at the unpainted sculpts of Mandrake and Valiant, plus concept sketches for Buffy and friends.
Electric Tiki has posted some color shots of the Green Hornet and Kato statue it is working on. At this point it looks like all of the sculpting is done, but now the company has a question for fans. Which color scheme do you like better, dark green, or bright green?
Take the jump to compare the two designs.
Fans of Electric Tiki Design, who for years have created statues and maquettes of some of the most well known cartoon, comicbook, and movie/television celebrities, will not have their own booth at the San Diego Comic Con this year. Instead they will be sharing booth space with Sideshow Collectible, creators of all sorts of master replicas.
Tracy at Electric Tiki dropped us an e-mail about the move,
For those of you who may get to Comic Con and wonder why Electric Tiki is not listed in the list of exhibitors, we will actually be displaying product at the Sideshow Collectibles booth. The good news is that we will be much easier to find this year since the Sideshow display area is about the size of a small continent. The bad news is that we won’t be doing an exclusive this year. The good news is that we will be giving away some of our stuff for free. The “booth” number is 1929 and it will be next to the DC Comics booth, right in the middle of the action. So stop by and say hi!
Sad there will no exclusive this year, the Hellboy Junior statue seemed to go over very well last year.
