Yesterday, the cast of Back to the Future gathered for a press event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the BTTF films (and the Blu-ray release). By coincidence, I was wondering how the film affected Michael J. Fox’s popularity, even though I though he was already on top of the world with Family Ties. If you follow my work here at Major Spoilers you have heard me both praise and criticize ABC’s Legend of the Seeker TV series. Recently Major Spoilers received the complete second season DVD set. What follows is largely a review but also a therapeutic moment of introspection in which I try to reconcile the aspects that I love about the show with the aspects that keep me awake at night as I hear my Film degree wailing in pain.

Warner Home Video has announced the Legends of the Super Heroes will arrive on DVD on October 19, 2010, and is one of the new On Demand DVD options for U.S. residents. Why only for customers in the U.S.? Because I think it might cause an international incident if it were released anywhere else.
With yesterday’s release of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse on DVD and Blu-Ray, the interviews with cast members continues to roll out from Warner Bros. In this clip, Glau talks about relating to her character.

Tim Daly, the fan’s choice as the quintessential voice of the Man of Steel from his days portraying the title character for the landmark Superman: The Animated Series, once again supplies those All-American tones in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. The ninth entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original PG-13 Movies arrives Tuesday, September 28 from Warner Home Video.
Produced by Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse will be available as a Blu-ray Combo Pack, Special Edition DVD, On Demand and for Download.
All Star Superman is getting the animated treatment, and now we have the first trailer for the film.
I never did finish the Grant Morrison/Frank Quitely book because it didn’t hit me in the right way. This trailer makes the story seem much more interesting, and I may have to read the rest of the series before the movie arrives just to see how much is/was changed.
