Call it a tale of modern archeology, one where the adventurer doesn’t spend time digging through long forgotten tombs, but rather the dusty hallways of television stations and studio warehouses looking for that one treasure thought lost long ago. For Doctor Who fans, nearly 100 episodes of the show from the 1960s are missing, but now thanks to Terry Burnett, two episodes have resurfaced.
Give a Fan of Anything a tool, and some time to think, and s/he will probably come up with something awesome. Case in point, it looks like a TARDIS merged with a wall, but open the doors and a whole new world (of movies) awaits inside.
That weird comment Steven Moffat made last week regarding the Doctor Who movie seemed to clarify that there wouldn’t be someone new playing the Doctor in a Doctor Who movie, however, his comments in The Register says there isn’t going to be a movie at all.
I know a number of Doctor Who fans are nervous over the announcement of the Doctor Who movie and comments made by David Yates a few weeks ago. Head writer, and Executive Producer of Doctor Who, Steven Moffat took some time today to clarify Yates’ statement.

It’s The Doctor’s birthday today – 48 years of the Doctor, and he doesn’t look a day over 29! Paul Grist whipped up this Doctor Who piece that seems fitting for this time of year.
The sixth season/series of Doctor Who was a blast and a half, featuring some major revelations, some major scares, and a lot of fun moments. The BBC has just released the complete sixth season on DVD, and it would make a great gift from any Doctor Who fan.
