If you are a Felcia Day fan, and want your own miniature version of her that will sit on your shelf and do your laundry, then 1) You probably ought to do your own laundry, and 2) Really? You want to put Felicia Day on your shelf? That’s really disturbing, dude. Go get help now.
For the rest of us, QMx is offering up this cute take on Penny from the phenom hit, Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog.
Cast in polystone and painted by hand, Penny is depicted with wide-eyed charm, doing what she does often and so very well: the laundry. As with all QMx animated maquettes, Penny comes with many screen-accurate details, such as her custom T-shirt, belted shawl-collar cardigan, stretch capri pants and ballet flats. She stands approximately 5.5 inches tall.
You’ll have to wait until August 2011 for this statue to arrive at your door, but you can pre-order now for a mere $49.95.

I honestly don’t know if we’ve featured the art of Steven E. Gordon on the site before or not, and quite frankly I’m too damned tired from my mid-term exams to check. In any case, today we present a look at his take on Doctor Horrible.

Sadly, it does not sing, and it is limited to 1,000 pieces, but the Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog Animated Maquette looks awesome!
Cast in professional-grade resin and painted by hand, Dr. Horrible is pictured in his moment of triumph, holding his Freeze Ray aloft in one hand and shaking his fist at the world. He stands over 6-inches tall – 9-inches tall, if you include his weapon.
For $69, Whedon fans will probably snap these up before you get a chance to check your bank account balance to see if you can afford it.

From the moment Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog hit the intardwebz, fans of musical comedies, with a superhero hook have been in seventh heaven. While there have been a couple of attempts to tell a Dr. Horrible origin story, the official take on the villain’s past can only be found in the pages of Dr. Horrible #1 from Dark Horse Comics.
What happens when Joss Whedon and company don’t jump on the sequel/prequel opportunities fast enough?
Fan films.
More specifically Dr. Horrible: Horrible Turn, a fan created origin story.
Here’s the trailer. We’ll see if anything becomes of it in 8 days.
