Photo Gallery: Disney’s Tangled

Walt Disney Pictures sent Major Spoilers a huge gallery of images for the upcoming Tangled animated movie that stars Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, Donna Murphy, and Ron Perlman.

Walt Disney Pictures presents “Tangled,” one of the most hilarious, hair-raising tales ever told.  When the kingdom’s most wanted—and most charming—bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair.  Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs. In theaters this holiday season in Disney Digital 3D™, “Tangled” is a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair—lots of hair.

Animated Tron series headed to Disney XD

While many are excited about TRON: Legacy hitting the movie screen next month, Disney is banking that the film and franchise will be successful enough that little tykes will want in on the action, too.  Disney has given the thumbs up for an animated series called TRON: Uprising, which has been set to hit the Disney XD cable channel in the summer of 2012.

“Tron: Uprising’s” voice cast includes Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, Nate Corddry and Lance Henriksen. Bruce Boxleitner will reprise his role as Tron.  “Tron: Uprising” will focus on Beck (voiced by Wood), who leads a revolution inside the Grid’s computer world.

Disney XD is targeted more toward male viewers, and with a Marvel TRON comic in stores now, it looks like TRON won’t be going away anytime soon.
