TELEVISION: New Marvel animated series set to premiere on Disney XD

Disney XD will premiere two highly anticipated animated series on the Marvel Universe programming block, “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble” and “Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.,” it was announced today by David Levine, Vice President and General Manager, Disney XD Worldwide and at New York Comic Con by Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. Produced by Marvel Television, the series feature some of Marvel’s most popular characters — Hulks smashing and Avengers assembling to take down the most infamous villains in the Marvel universe. Filled with action, big adventures and humor, both series are currently in production and slated to premiere in summer 2013 on Marvel Universe on Disney XD.

Following the success of The Avengers from Marvel and Disney, we spotted some fantastic prop replicas of the central characters’ gear.  For months we’ve been waiting word on when we could pull our previous credit card out of our wallets and place an order.  Today, eFX Inc has announced Thorsday.

POSTER: Disney shows off Frankenweenie IMAX poster

Exclusively for IMAX fans as part of IMAX’s 12:01 program – those attending the FRANKENWEENIE midnight shows in the first hours of October 5 will receive a limited edition FRANKENWEENIE print using an original sketch by Tim Burton.
