On the plus side, Mandy Moore and “Chuck” star Zachary Levi have been cast as the leads in the movie that is scheduled to be released during the holiday season of 2010.…

To continue the theme of Disney/Marvel, comes this piece done by the great Jack Kirby way back in 1991 by Jack Kirby for ‘The Art of Mickey Mouse’.
With the big announcement still on my mind, I started searching for one of my all time favorite Disney animated movies, and discovered this piece by Lois van Baarle.
Last week, there was a lot of speculation over an image of Pixar creators at work. Behind the sculptor is a very pronounced image of a dinosaur and a boy, which many saw as a clue to the next 3D movie project. The Pixar blog site offered up a variety of clues, and ultimately came to this conclusion: These facts point to this having been a research trip for an unannounced upcoming film, almost certainly being directed by (Greg) Dykstra. This would undoubtedly be a short since Dykstra hasn’t directed before at the studio. On the other hand, with the…

If you’ve listened to the Major Spoilers Podcast, you know I have a love for Disney animated films. I was quite saddened by the state of the studio when they opted to stop making traditional 2D films a few years ago. Fortunately, it looks like Disney has come to its senses with The Princess and the Frog. The more I see from this film, the more I’m thinking this might be the first film my child gets to see in the theater. via Cartoon Brew TV
After discovering that a child’s laughter is much more powerful than a scream at the end of the Disney/Pixar 2001 film, Monsters Inc. has changed dramatically under the leadership of its new CEO, James P. Sullivan (also known as Sulley). The factories slogan has changed from “We Scare Because We Care†to “Going the Extra Mile to Make Them Smileâ€. “Scarers†are now “Amusers†and Sulley’s former partner, Mike Wazowski is at the top of the game.
