I’m a huge Disney fan, and admire what Walt Disney did for the entertainment industry. As big as an innovator he was, there are still many problems surrounding him that don’t sit well with me. I don’t know if those will be explored in a new documentary, but there is one coming that explores how Disney created the future.
The BFG is a classic children’s tale that is now getting the live action treatment thanks to a collaboration between Walt Disney, and Steve Spielberg. We got our first taste of the adaptation several months ago, and now a new trailer has arrived that shows off the big giant.

Remember the Black Cauldron animated movie from Disney? Released in 1985, the animated movie was the first to receive a PG rating, and the first to feature computer generated images. Unfortunately, the $44 million picture couldn’t recoup its cost, making only $21.3 million at the box office. So, it didn’t work as an animated movie, which is why Disney is now moving ahead with the Chronicles of Prydain as a live action series.
