Once again, Marvel took the top spot with Secret Invasion: Infiltration, with DC close behind with recolored Batman: Killing Joke Special Edition Hard Cover Trade. Top 300 Comics for April 2008

Diamond Comic Distributors has sent Major Spoilers the break down of the top 300 comics for the month of April. The month was won by Marvel, who had 39.78% of the Comics, Magazines and Graphic Novels dollar share, with DC Comics and Dark Horse taking the second and third spot respectively. Secret Invasion #1 took the top spot on the list with a Retail Rank of 351.80, which ICv2 has estimated to be 250,000 copies. Diamond Comic Distributors has sent Major Spoilers the rundown of the top 100 trades and graphic novels that shipped in March 2008. Not surprisingly DC’s Batman Killing Joke Special Edition Hardcover took the number one spot with its new coloring (which I like quite a bit). Top 300 Comics for March 2008

Marvel’s Dark Tower: The Long Road Home #1 hit the top spot for comics shipping in March 2008. Marvel took the month with the more titles in the Top 10 than the other companies with eight titles in the top spot. Dark Horse came in second with Buffy the Vampire Slayer #12 (in the #6 spot), while DC was only able to break the top 10 with Justice League of America #19 coming in at #7. Diamond Announces Exclusive Previews for NYCC

Diamond Comics Distributors, the makers of the Previews catalog, has announced it will have three limited exclusives for the New York Comic Con “We’re excited to offer these exclusives to NYYC attendees” said Dan Manser, Director of Marketing for Diamond Comic Distributors, the publisher of PREVIEWS. “Each month, PREVIEWS offers some great fare for comic shop customers, a number of items which are exclusive that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a natural for us to extend PREVIEWS Exclusives to the 2008 convention circuit.”

Diamond Comic Distributors sent its breakdown of the top 300 comics that shipped in July 2007. Marvel took eight of the top 10 titles, while DC came away with two. In fact, DC was only able to nab eight spots in the top 25. Diamond Comic Distributors have released its listing of the Top 300 comics sold in June 2007. Marvel sweeps the top five spots, with World War Hulk #1 selling an estimated 178,408 copies (according to ICv2.com), and dominating the Top 25. Surprisingly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer #4 came in at the number 10 spot with an estimated 102,000 copies sold.
