November was another notch on DC Comics belt, as the company held on to the market share for the month over competitor Marvel. And DC’s success appears to be a success for everyone.
Earlier we showed off the Gold Sponsors for Free Comic Book Day 2012. Now Diamond Comic Distributors have released the Silver Sponsors and the books you’ll be able to pick up on May 5, 2012.

The Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Committee has announced its Gold Sponsor comic book selections for the industry’s top annual event, Free Comic Book Day, scheduled for Saturday, May 5th, 2012. Next year marks the eleventh anniversary of Free Comic Book Day with another year of incredible stories that allow fans of all ages to dive into the adventures of their favorite comic book characters and encourage new readers to explore the fun and excitement that comics can offer.

Diamond Comic Distributors has released the breakdown of the Top 300 Comics sold in the direct market in October 2011.
When DC Comics came out on top of the Market and Dollar Share in September 2011, many shrugged their shoulders and said, “Let’s see what happens in October.” Diamond Comic Distributors has released the initial list of comics sold, and once again DC Comics has taken the Dollar and Unit Share for October 2011.

Diamond Comic Distributors has finalized negotiations with Rovio Entertainment to exclusively distribute its new publishing line of books based upon Angry Birds, the wildly popular, bestselling mobile app game. Diamond will represent Rovio Entertainment in book distribution to comic book specialty shops, bookstores, mass-market merchandisers, and other outlets worldwide.
