I haven’t picked up Minimates in quite a while simply because I’m running out of space at the Major Spoilers HQ, but the latest release from Diamond Select Toys has me wondering if I can squeeze a few more Deadpools into my life.

Marvel had a number of teaser images come out during the Diamond Retailer Lunch yesterday. Right now it’s mostly speculation but more information on each will be coming out over the weekend. For now, take the jump and see what was teased.
Super Power Beat Downs is at it again with hero battle. This time, it’s Batman vs. Deadpool, with only one coming out the winner.
It has long been official that Deadpool would be head lining in his very own video game, but now the list of all the characters that will be included is starting to compile on the Internet. Today, Wolverine was announced as part of the cast.
Deadpool, the merc with a mouth and a sizable fan base, has been given the Marvel NOW treatment of having a completely new creative team; a team which has kept the book going for nine issues now, with no end currently in sight. As we all know, something does not have to be good for it to sell well, so does Deadpool have the quality to match the quantity? Find out, after the jump.

The success of Deadpool is the kind of thing that really makes you love comics. His pedigree isn’t impressive (a not-at-all subtle knockoff of Deathstroke, from a creator who is, at best, controversial) and he comes from a timeframe widely lambasted for its excesses. Moreover, he is a comedic character with a tendency to break the fourth wall, making him a perfect storm of things that could go horribly wrong. Marvel has definitely had highs and lows when it comes to the video game adaptations of their properties and the jury is still out on which of those Deadpool: The Game will fall into. Get a better idea if you will be rushing to the store for the game by watching the trailer after the jump.
