Today, IDW Limited announced plans to offer more limited-edition covert action with a deluxe hardcover of DANGER GIRL/G.I. JOE (http://idwlimited.com/series/gi-joe.html). This action-packed crossover will be presented in spectacular fashion with both Black and Red Label editions poised to infiltrate the top shelf of collectors everywhere.

The mean-spirited part of my mind wants to call this event “The Biggest Crossover of 1999!” Luckily, I don’t listen to him, as he sounds like Neil Goldman and hates everything on principle, and *I* embrace change, experimentation and exuberant celebrations of things that comic creators loved in their youths. Today, IDW’s Chris Ryall and Bobby Curnow hosted a press event to discuss the company’s multi-universe crossover event, Infestation 2. The first time it was zombies, this time it’s time to break out the Lovecraftian Horror.

Take this with a grain of salt, since this hasn’t been confirmed by anyone, but Latino Review is claiming that there is a Danger Girl movie in the works, and three actresses have already been attached.
What do you get when to take two popular franchises and slam them together? If it has Abbey Chase from Danger Girl, and Ash from Army of Darkness in it, the answer is awesome.

IDW Publishing has announced it is bringing J. Scott Campbell’s Danger Girl series to the company.Â The original series will be collected in an oversized deluxe hardcover in the spring of 2010.Â Following that, new Danger Girl stories will be produced, featuring Campbell’s work on the covers.
I’m surprised it took this long for the original series to be collected in trade, as the art alone warrants the super-sized treatment.
