This past weekend a bunch of you went to BlizzCon 2013, and got to see a bunch of concept art for the upcoming Warcraft movie.

Geek Girl Con turned out to be a much bigger convention than I expected. Though smaller than PAX, the convention still spanned three floors of the Washington Convention Center. I spent most of my time playing a small Magic draft, but I was able to walk the floor for a few hours and catch a panel.

Considering all of the conventions I’d been to before have had a very wide scope of fan bases, I was very interested to see the turn out to the Sherlock Seattle Convention. My friend Erika flew up from Kansas to cosplay the gender swapped version of BBC Watson to my Holmes. Considering around 80% of my tumblr is dedicated to the BBC version I was pretty sure I would enjoy myself no matter what, but I was still nervous. What kind of crowd could I expect?
