To help promote the upcoming Watchmen movie, promo posters, like the one above began appear at the show. The teaser posters recreate Dave Gibbons in house ads used to promote the mini-series back in 1986. Head over to The Omlette to see all six of the posters.
While there were a lot of companies that had news to share in their panel, there really wasn’t enough to justify a single article for each. To make sure we try to get as much complete coverage as we can, here’s a summary of the tid-bits coming from the rest.

BURBANK, CA, (July 26, 2008) – Nathan Fillion (Desperate Housewives, Serenity) has joined Warner Home Video’s Saturday, July 26 panel at Comic-Con in support of Wonder Woman, the fourth entry in the DC Universe animated original movie series. Presented by DC Comics, Warner Premiere, Warner Home Video and Warner Bros. Animation, Wonder Women streets in February 2009 on DVD, Blu-Ray, OnDemand and for download.

Not to be left out, Vertigo had several announcements at its panel on Friday.
In addition to the Image United, a six-issue mini-series written by Robert Kirkman, and featuring characters and art from the Image Comics founders (with George Perez doing the layouts), Image had a few other things to announce at the show.
