The Mid-Ohio-Con announced that famed artist Adam Hughes has joined the guest list of big names that will be appearing at the comic book convention. Adam began working in comics in 1985 at the age of 19 and in 1989 he started on his first mainstream comic title with DC’s Justice League. He worked on the book for almost 2 years, doing covers and interiors until 1990, then switching to just supplying artwork for the covers. Wizard Entertainment CEO Gareb Shamus has announced that Wizard World Anaheim will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center April 29 through May 1, 2011. “Our first Anaheim Comic Con was a smashing success, and Wizard World is pleased to have secured a date for 2011,” said Shamus. “We have just scratched the surface of what this event can be, and we look forward to bringing an even bigger and better show back to the Anaheim Convention Center.” Wizard Entertainment tells Major Spoilers that the popular Actors Pavilion, which was a big hit last year, will return. via Wizard Entertainment
The organizers of the Mid-Ohio-Con have announced that Michael Golden has joined the growing list of guests who will be at the show. During his career, Golden has been an editor at DC Comics as well as senior art director at Marvel Comics, and has worked on numerous movie production projects, including some currently in development.
