The last two times the Comic Con International organizers tried to sell tickets to the 2011 San Diego Comic Con, it ended in disaster with the site and online shopping cart going down in flames.  CCI organizers think they have everything fixed, and are going to do a live test on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 to see if they have the problem fixed, and they’re going to sell 1,000 tickets to see if it works. The good news is you can now order your tickets for the 2011 San Diego Comic Con. The bad news?  Good luck trying to get into the site.  Several weeks ago, the comic convention organizers had to suspend ticket sales because of an error with the online shopping system.  Today, sales opened again, but within minutes potential attendees were greeted with a variety of error messages ranging from Internal Server Errors, to a notice to call the company regarding the sales, to complete server crash messages. Gareb Shamus has announced that he has acquired the NOLA Comic-Con that takes place in New Orleans.  The event has been rebranded as Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con and will take place January 29-30, 2011 at the New Orleans Ernest N.
