I’m not sure where the line is between commercial, teaser, trailer, and the like, but when it is over a minute long, it feels like a trailer to me. Take the jump for an “extended sneak peek” of Cars 3 from Disney/Pixar.
Sometimes commercials from other countries are completely awesome, other times not so much. Heck, MOST of the commercials in the United States suck, but I think this commercial for Hyundai takes the cake as our WTF moment of the day.
Back in February, we learned that Planes would be the first spin-off from the popular Cars series. Today, Disney and Pixar announced the release date for the direct to Blu-Ray and DVD movie at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, and sent along a trailer as well as casting announcements.
While it was not expected to be a very popular movie, Cars has become one of the most financially successful Disney/Pixar movies, prompting the company to produce a sequel that feels a lot like A Man Called Flintstone. Star race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race. But the road to the championship becomes rocky as Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Did you get down to the theater to see it? What did you think?
