DC Entertainment sent us an early early look at Batgirl and the Birds of Prey: Rebirth #1. This may be one of the books I’m looking forward to and fearing the most. I hope it is good.
Batman: Bad Blood premiered worldwide tonight and not only does Barbara Gordon Batgirl have a surprised appearance in the movie, but she appears in the updated Cameron Stewart-designed costume that lit up the internet with its popularity. Granted, Batgirl is a very minor figure in Batman: Bad Blood with not a word to her name. Instead the movie houses on Nightwing, Robin, Batwoman and Batwing and it will be nice to introduce another female character into the DC Animated Universe for use going forward and to highlight this character at a peek in her popularity. Are your as excited as we are

I’m still waiting for a free moment to play Batman: Arkham Knight, and when I picked up the game at my local store, I was upsold on the Batgirl DLC package. Now that the trailer is here, I’m kinda wishing I was done with the main game so I could take on this side tale.
Have you read the brand new Batman #41? It’s really stirred up fan love and fan hate as there’s a new Batman working for the GCPD. Artist Diego Olortegui likes the design so much, he created his own mashup of what I can only hope get turned into a cover in the near future.
Today seems like a good day to feature Batgirl in the Major Spoilers Art Appreciation Moment of the Day – actually ANY day is a good day to feature Batgirl – and today, the awesome piece of art by Marcio Takara.
