I’ll admit, Back to the Future Part II was not as good as the first movie, but when you take a look at Hill Valley 2015 done up in LEGO form, you’ll be impressed what a little time, and a lot of little bricks will yield.

For whatever reason, soundtracks and theme songs done in a capella style have captured my attention as of late. Case in point, the skateboard sequence from Back to the Future.
Some are probably disappointed over the news that only 1,500 of the Nike Air Mags are going to be made available (this year), but everyone should be happy over this promo spot for the auction.
If it makes you feel better, the first round of shoes are currently starting at $4,000 and some are already past the $5,000 mark.

So Nike did make the big announcement that it has indeed made identical replicas to the Back to the Future shoes Michael J. Fox wears when he visits the future. The Nike Air Mags look stunning, but the chances of you actually getting one is slim.
Nike announced that 1500 pairs of this shoe will be auctioned on eBay, nikemag.eBay.com, with all net proceeds going directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The auction will begin tonight and end on September 18 (150 pairs will be posted on eBay per day for 10 days).
Since Michael J. Fox is scheduled to be on Latenight with David Letterman tonight, expect the eBay to be flooded with people trying to get their hands on a pair, and expect the price to be in the four digit range. I’m kind of disappointed by this announcement. Sure, money going to Fox’s charity foundation is a good thing, but I was really hoping to get my feet into a pair.
There is one glimmer of hope BTTF fans. Nike going this far to make 1,500 shoes for charity seems a little too good. Remember, Marty traveled to 2015, so we may see these shoes for general purpose in the near future.
Remember a while ago when we showed you that viral video featuring Doc Brown and the Back to the Future time machine appearing out of no where, that then turned out to be a viral video for an electronics store in Argentina?
Well check out the follow up commercial.

There’s a big event taking place at the Nike this morning, that might just “change the course of time.” The invite sent to select people (not us of course, because everyone knows how much love we have for the Back to the Future franchise), that featured Doc Browns glasses from the future, and an audio message that hinted some serious S**T was about to happen.
Then of course there is this teaser trailer that suddenly appeared online yesterday.

Check out this viral video from Argentina that features a mysterious car and driver who are excited to arrive in 2011.

The second episode of the Back to the Future video game arrives in February, and we’ve an early look at two new characters.
It seems most movie games exist only as a ploy to milk consumers for every cent they’re worth. Timing is crucial for these games, because their sales die with the associated movie’s hype. As a result, fans end up with a lackluster product that leaves them feeling betrayed and full of gamer rage. In the last few years though, the gaming community has seen a rise of “fan-service” games that do the movies and the characters justice. These games include Batman: Arkham Asylum, Ghostbusters: The Videogame, and Transformers: The War for Cybertron. Now, Telltale Games, creators of the Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island series have recently released It’s About Time, the first episode in the Back to the Future game series.

Now that the 25th anniversary of Back to the Future has come and gone, it’s time for those reliving their past to snag onto something that is BTTF related. Enter the Limited-Edition DeLorean Nike Dunks. These fancy kicks draw their inspiration from the DMC-12, and have a no-sew construction that mimic the classic design. While the silver top looks nice, it the sole that brings back the memories, as they are inspired by the tail light from the car.
The shoe went on sale on Black Friday at store.nike.com, and they are so limited, it wouldn’t surprise me if the shoes were sold out by the time you click the link. In fact, you will probably have better luck buying a real DMC-12 than getting your hands on a pair of these. Still, if the wallet is willing, these shoes might make the perfect gift for that time traveler in your life.
