Among them are a giclée print of artist Tim West’s handcrafted paper sculpture of Shrek and Donkey. If you missed the Italian Spiderman video series when we first talked about it on this very website a couple of years ago, you missed out on some awesome moments of fan film history. Marvel announced that Thor: The Mighty Avenger #1 and Thor: The Mighty Avenger #2 are being collected in Thor: The Mighty Avengers – Double Rainbow. The double issue mini-trade features the art of Chris Samnee, and it seems like a perfect time to feature him once again in our Art Appreciation Moment of the Day.

Today at the DC blog, the company unveiled the collect and connect covers to Brightest Day. The main character art is by Ryan Sook and when you look at everything joined, mysterious things begin to happen.

I first saw Rafael Albuquerque’s work in the pages of the now canceled Blue Beetle series, and knew then that he can create some great images. DC Comics has released the cover to Superboy #1 that arrives in November, that features the artist’s take on the title character.
