Looks like DC is collecting Paul Dini and Dustin Nguyen’s first six issues of Detective Comics into a hard cover and have asked Dustin to do a whole new cover, that frankly is jaw dropping. so this cover is special to me for many reason. originally, i thought this was a trade paper back, i could still be wrong, but hopefully im not. If you loved Dustin Nguyen’s take on the Marvel characters, be prepared to be blown away with this mini version of the Batman Universe. im sure the costumes are all way off and some are more deformed than others. but for some reason, i have no problem improvising costumes and features for Gotham characters. i figure if they looked cool to me, that was fun enough. unlike the marvel one i did here, where i actually had to go out to look for costumes and ref what they kinda look like.
