He’s called Prometheus. He’s the villain that once beat the crap put of Batman and blew up a sizable chunk of Star City. Now, he’s on TV to scrap with Stephen Amell on Arrow. Let’s us reveal his secret origin to you.

Stephen Amell has announced to the world that when Legends of Tomorrow makes a jump to 2046 in their upcoming sixth episode he will appear with a goatee and only one arm – a look that comic readers will recognize from The Dark Knight Returns. Just in time for the American presidential election to kick into high gear, Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim has unveiled the official Oliver Queen for Mayor poster that will accompany the CW series 2016 mid-season premier. The mayoral race is a storyline that fans of the classic Van Dyke-bearded Oliver Queen have been looking forward to since Arrow started. While Oliver’s staffers don’t have OliverQueenforMayor.com up and running just yet and we hope it is up and running complete with graphics and slogans soon! First, I need to give my yearly advice to people buying gifts for comics fans, especially late ones! Do NOT try to buy an item you THINK they might want! Chances are, they either have it or don’t wait it if they haven’t already bought it. Instead, locate their local comics shop and buy a gift card! They’ll be able to purchase what they want, so they’ll love you for it! Phew! Okay, now we can move on to the topic at hand – This is a great time to be a comics fan! Part two of THE FLASH/ARROW epic crossover event gave ARROW its most watched (3.58 million) and its highest-rated episode in adults 18-34 (1.0/4), adults 18-49 (1.3/4), and men 18-49 (1.6/6) of the season, according to fast affiliate Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, December 2, 2015. ARROW also matched its season high rating in men 18-34 (1.2/5).
The television event I’ve been waiting for is happening this Tuesday and Wednesday nights. It’s the annual crossover between The Flash and Arrow on The CW. Last year’s crossover was a huge ratings success, prompting the early renewal of both shows on the network. Will the same thing happen again? I hope so!
