There are days when you’re the windshield, and days where you’re a dragonfly on a hi-speed rendezvous with a squeegee, and recently it feels like I’ve been having a few more of the latter than the former.  With a new schedule, an old family, and the beginnings of third grade (this time, I hope to master fractions) this week has been somewhat exhausting, leaving me barely coherent but still able to sing remarkably like the guy from Coldplay.  But, as a wise man once said,’When life gives you lemons, invent a cliche.‘  Or maybe it was ‘Get a receipt?’  Either way, you have to admit, Ash Williams is pretty awesome.

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would like to remind you that this is it’s boom-stick, asking:  What’s YOUR very favorite Bruce Campbell performance?

Wiliams) can defeat the captain of the Enterprise.  Will it be the chainsaw wielding, time-traveling, zombie killer, or will it be the space-faring, time-traveling, lady killer who comes out on top of an all out brawl to end it all?

TOP TEN: Sequels That Hold Their Own

At times there seems to be a stigma attached to movie sequels. A lot of the time they have no purpose other than to capitalize on the name recognition of their popular predecessor. But there are times where the sequels live up to what has come before, or even surpass it on some occasions. As the holiday season continues to approach with every increasing speed, finding just the right gift for your loved one is going to be a big deal.  Shop smart, shop S-mart with this really nice Army of Darkness inspired T-Shirt that looks like something Bruce Campbell wore at the end of the move.  The design is a print only, this shirt doesn’t really button down, and the blood most certainly isn’t real.  For $30.00 it’s a tad on the expensive side, but money really shouldn’t be an issue if you truly love that special AoD fan in your life, right?

Review: Army of Darkness #27

Good. Bad. He’s the guy with the gun. Army of Darkness picks up on the adventures of Ash Williams after the events of the cult classic movie by the same name. Ever since stumbling across the Necronomicon in a log cabin the woods, Ash has been trying to keep an undead army of evil, known as the Deadites, at bay. After losing his hand and getting sucked back and forth through time, Ash thought he was free to return to his life … but that would be short lived. Soon after the events of the movie, Ash discovered that he is a Chosen One and destined to protect the world from the Deadites and their attempts to take over the world and destroy all living things.
