Since starting here at Major Spoilers I have been exposed to a multitude of different properties, truths, and generes that I most likely never would have been. One of those is works from foreign countries, more specifically those coming from the Far East. So combine my new-found curiosity and my love of Star Wars and you can see why this fan-made video left my drooling. You need to watch this.
Press Release Marvel Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan (SPEJ) announced today the return of iconic Super Hero, Iron Man, to the beloved world of anime in an all-new feature-length film, IRON MAN: RISE OF TECHNOVORE. Produced by Madhouse and currently in production in Japan, the film is slated for release on DVD in the spring of 2013.
A while back, we showed off a girl who had gone through many surgeries to make herself look like a real life Barbie doll. While that was creepy, I think I’ve stumbled across something quite frightening – a girl who has gone through the process to make herself look like a living, breathing, anime character.

I know what is on our holiday menu this year – sushi, soba noodles, and a honey glazed ham… And what better way to celebrate the downing of food, than with chopsticks inspired by the Neon Genesis anime series.
While the first Starship Troopers movie brought a lot of attention to the bug menace that threatens the universe, subsequent movies didn’t fare as well. There was a very well done animated series that ran about eleven years ago, and it had some critical acclaim, which is probably why the next entry to the SST universe is going to be an animated feature.
Cartoons are awesome, and a big part of cartoons is that show open. Superman flies around, cheetara beats up some mutants and Ash tries to catch some pokemans, all while some rockin’ music plays. This is not a list of ‘the greatest animated shows’ just the greatest opening sequences! What follows is a list of animated show intros, each more awesome than the last.
I have no idea what is being said here, but the pictures sure do look pretty. This is the trailer for Blade, the anime series that begins airing in Japan in July. And if you know where to look, I’m sure you’ll be able to find your own copy of the episodes about 10 minutes after the show hits the airwaves.
