Variety is reporting Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are teaming up to bring Tintin to the big screen. Speculation on the success of the first film is so high, DreamWorks, Spielberg, and Jackson will be directing and producing three back to back features. An interesting bit of info popping up around the comic blogosphere is the credit listing of Neil Patrick Harris over at IMDb. In addition to his work on Harold and Kumar 2, Harris is listed as doing voice work for Justice League: The New Frontier. New Frontier is the animated direct to DVD movie from DC adapting the VERY excellent series from Darwyn Cooke. One of my many other jobs has me covering the animation and motion graphics industry. Today during my search through the Interwebs I found this really cool short film by Isaak Fernandez Rodriguez. Batman: Chapter 1 – Help Me is a very stylized 3D animation that captures the tone of Batman, while at the same time mugging the intensity of Batman’s actions. Warner Bros, the CW Network, and Sprint have joined forces to create a six part animated mini-series based on characters from the television series Smallville. Premiering on the Sprint TV mobile service, Smallville Legends: The Oliver Queen Chronicles tells the tale of how Oliver Queen became the Green Arrow. The first episode debuted last night (January 18, 2007), and after the Sprint exclusive window closes, fans will be able to view the series on the CW website (www.CWTV.com).

Moore, aged 53, recorded his lines at The Lodge studios in Abington Square last month for an episode which will be called Husbands and Knives.
