MOVIES: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 to premiere in New York and Los Angeles

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and The Paley Center for Media proudly present the bi-coastal premieres of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2, the epic conclusion to Frank Miller’s comic masterpiece and the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original PG-13 Movies. The film will have its World Premiere in New York on January 23, 2013 and its West Coast Premiere in Los Angeles on January 28, 2013. Filmmakers and members of the voice cast will attend both events for red carpet media interviews and post-screening panel discussions.

TELEVISION: Ultimate Spider-Man returns in January

Hit Marvel animated series “Ultimate Spider-Man” thwips into season two with a special one-hour primetime premiere on MONDAY, JANUARY 21 (7:00 – 8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD, it was announced today by David Levine, Vice President and General Manager, Disney XD Worldwide and Jeph Loeb, Executive Vice President, Marvel Television. The thrilling two part premiere introduces fans to two of Spider-Man’s most iconic villains—the Lizard (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker of Disney’s “Phineas and Ferb”) and Electro. As Spidey and his team—Nova, White Tiger, Iron Fist and Power Man—battle these menacing super villains, a sinister force is secretly assembling to try and spell their defeat. New episodes of Marvel’s “Ultimate Spider-Man” will premiere Sundays at 11:00 a.m., ET/PT on Marvel Universe on Disney XD.

MOVIES: Walt Disney Animation Studios announces more cast members for Frozen

Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) has given voice to its extreme mountain man from the comedy-adventure “Frozen.” Tony Award® nominee Jonathan Groff (Broadway’s “Spring Awakening,” TV’s “Glee”) is on board to help bring Kristoff to life in the epic journey slated for the big screen November 27, 2013.

VIDEO: Axe Cop animated series

There’s a new animation channel on YouTube called Rugburn, and their first animated series is Axe Cop based on the Dark Horse Comics series.  It may be hard to wrap your head around this, but apparently, this online series is in no way a conflict with the upcoming Axe Cop series from Fox.
