Though the movie is a way off and the teaser trailer got yanked, Entertainment Weekly was able to debut new images of The Amazing Spider-Man’s new costume. While those are nice, what about the movie toy tie-ins? Looks like USA Today was given the scoop with images of the new action figure set to debut this week at the San Diego Comic Con.
Expect this to come out in a high resolution format right after its debut at the San Diego Comic Con, but for now, check out the leaked version of the trailer, before it gets taken down in about ten minutes.
UPDATE: We were able to find a better version of the trailer for you to check out. It still may not last long, but at least you’ll get another chance to see it.
For those lucky enough to see it, what did you think?
Entertainment Weekly has released a crap ton of images from the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man movie, and though Stephen didn’t want to run them, I figured one little image one hurt anybody (C&D not withstanding).

I gotta say I love how Peter Parker pulled one over on the basketball team by stealing all their balls and sewing them into this wicked looking suit. Hope he has a air hole so he can breath, or this is going to be a really short movie.

With Spider-Island ready to kick into high gear with Amazing Spider-Man #666, Marvel is hoping to get comic shop owners in on the event by creating variant covers specifically for their retail shop.
Marvel released a teaser image and information regarding Venom’s involvement with Spider-Island.
With a whole of city of Spider-Men & Women to fight through, can Flash maintain control of a suit that wants nothing less than to put an end to any and all wall-crawlers? Or will the kill switch finally be thrown on America’s ultimate man in black? Find out when Venom takes Manhattan this August, only in Venom #6!
Rick Remender is pretty tight on who Venom will be taking on in the event, but they are “huge characters”.
Venom #6 gets in on the Spider-Island action in August.

When Spider-Island: The Amazing Spider-Island #1 arrives in August, Anya Corazon will go up against her deadliest enemies. That is all according to Marvel, and writer Paul Tobin.
“It’s a VERY different Spider-Girl that readers will encounter in the pages of Spider-Island: The Amazing Spider-Girl, as the strange outbreak of spider-powers infects her as well… but in very surprising ways,” said writer Paul Tobin. “And when the Society of the Wasp declares full scale war on the new ‘army’ of the spider-powered, Spider-Girl surprisingly finds herself aligned with the Kingpin and Hobgoblin. Even more surprisingly she finds that, maybe…that’s where she most belongs.”
Spider-Island: The Amazing Spider-Island #1 has a $2.99 cover price.
