According to Deadline, Fox television has hired Miranda Otto to play Nina Locke, the mother in the Locke & Key television adaptation.  Currently, Mark Romanek in talks to direct the pilot. Fox has given the go ahead to Jared and Jerusha Hess to bring the 2004 hit Napoleon Dynamite to television, as an animated series. Jon Heder and the rest of the co-stars will provide the voices for the characters for the six episodes Fox ordered yesterday. Actress Rose Byrne is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to star as Dr. Moira MacTaggert, a scientist who specializes on genetic mutation, in X-Men: First Class.  The Matthew Vaughn film already has Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Alice Eve in the cast.
