ME WANT: Working Portal Turret

Who doesn’t love Portal? What’s more, who doesn’t enjoy the adorable, deadly turrets found in the Aperture testing facilities? Best yet, who else wants one of those turrets? Well, for now the only place that gets one is Valve HQ, but we can at least enjoy the unboxing after the jump.

SHE WANT: D10 Engagement Ring

This custom engagement ring was seen on Geekologie last week showing just how geeky love can get. While the d10 specifically isn’t for me, I find the idea of such a personalized piece fitting. It seems this idea should be the norm instead of the oddity and story that it becomes. It does beg the question, if not a d10, what would you and your special someone use?

VIDEO GAME REVIEW: Borderlands 2

A few years ago the first Borderlands showed up and created its own subgenre, the shoot and loot. With solid gameplay, gorgeous visuals, a net-rage inducing ending, and hilarity running across the spectrum it exploded into the world with guns, guns and more guns creating a massively popular following, Having spawned four vastly entertaining sets of DLC, more guns than you can possibly ever obtain, some great videos, and entertainment galore, the full-fledged sequel has finally arrived.

GAME REVIEW: Kaijudo

Wizards of the Coast launched their newest trading card game earlier this month. The game is Kaijudo and we were lucky enough to be sent a few decks and booster packs to take a look.
