So, the upside of being a robit is obvious: Computer brain, superhuman strength, probably lasers in your spleen or something. But the idea of being a vampire, especially a Key & Peele sexy vampire is also compelling. You have all the nice velvet clothing, and a goth lifestyle and of course, you’d get to stay up late and sleep in. Of course, beach days are out of the question, but then again, robots sometimes can’t feel love or use contractions. If it came down to a choice between robot or vampire, I think I’d lean towards robot simply because many of them can pass for perfectly human, and even the ones that can’t look cool, leading to today’s technarcane query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) also isn’t allowing any third-options or vamp-bots this time, it’s an either/or question, asking: If you had to choose one or the other, would you rather be a robot or vampire?

not a huge fan of either trope, but i guess i’ll go with vampire. the immortality would probably get to me eventually, but the super strength, heightened senses, valid excuse for bloodlust, etc., would be nice without sacrificing the ability to feel (both emotionally and physically)
Robot or Android? if Android is not allowed then I would choose Vampire. If Android is allowed then I would do that.
I’m pretty sure that androids are just a subset of robots that specifically appear human, so I don’t see why they would be excluded.
Android is just a robit with a better hat, so I think they count.
Robots don’t need to feed on human blood and can enjoy a walk in the sun. How is this even a question? Robot.
If something as advanced as Data or Bishop is available, then robot.
