They’re big, ugly, and dangerous creatures, driving humanity to the brink of extinction. Though there isn’t much hope for survival out in the wild, Rainbow knows that her sister is out there somewhere-and she’ll do anything to find her.
CHRISTOPHER: This looks cute and engaging. Always excited to see new titles!
NOCTERRA #1
Writer: Scott Snyder
Artist: Tony Salvador Daniel
Publisher: Image Comics
Cover Price: $3.99
SOLICITATION: “FULL THROTTLE DARK,” Part One
Ten years after the world is plunged into an everlasting night that turns all living creatures into monstrous shades, the only way to survive is to stay close to artificial light. Enter Valentina “Val” Riggs, a skilled ferryman who transports people and goods along deadly unlit roads with her heavily illuminated eighteen wheeler.
This March, legendary creators SCOTT SNYDER (Dark Knights: Death Metal, WYTCHES) and TONY S. DANIEL (Batman, Deathstroke) unveil horrors beyond any shade in this extra-sized first issue.
INGRID: While the premise of everlasting night is pretty complicated, I like the concept of literally requiring light to survive the horrible creatures who live in the darkness. And putting the adventure on the road on this darkness sounds terrifying – but also interesting.
RESONANT #8
Writer: David Brian Andry
Artist: Skylar Patridge
Publisher: Vault Comics
Cover Price: $3.99
SOLICITATION: Shipwrecked, Paxton and Fern search for their companions. What they find is a seemingly miraculous haven from the Waves. After abandoning the family cabin to Maw and Preacher, the kids, along with Sarah, regroup and begin to formulate a plan to take back their home.
INGRID: The world of Resonant is strange and dangerous. With Paxton separated from his kids, there are a couple of intense plotlines to follow. This issue hints at something that stops the effects of the Waves – can it be so? It’s a solid book, so I’m looking forward to this issue.
ROBOT OVERLORD: We all have extraordinary coded within us, waiting to be released.
