‘Terminator’ Anime Series Ordered at Netflix

A ” Terminator” anime series has been ordered at Netflix, Variety has learned. As the project is still in the early stages, plot details are being kept under wraps. Netflix has partnered with Skydance on the series, with Skydance having produced the last two “Terminator” films. The series is produced in partnership with Production I.G , who Netflix has had a production line deal with since 2018.

‘Halo’ TV Series Jumps From Showtime to Paramount Plus

The ” Halo” TV show, based on the popular and long-running sci-fi video game series on Microsoft’s Xbox, has moved to Paramount Plus from Showtime, Variety has confirmed. The official announcement will be made during ViacomCBS’ Wednesday press conference event showcasing upcoming titles on Paramount Plus, the fledgling streaming service.

Ta-Nehisi Coates Writing a New Superman Film for DC and Warner Bros.

Ta-Nehisi Coates will write a new Superman film for DC Films and Warner Bros. The project is in very early development, but the new film is being produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot. Hannah Minghella will also produce.

San Diego Comic-Con Goes Virtual in July 2021, Plans November In-Person Event

San Diego Comic-Con, the largest fan convention in North America, will not be held in person in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers announced on Monday. Instead, the event will be held virtually over three days, from July 23-25.
