Raised as I was by a 21-inch Magnavox, I grew up with a lot of cartoons, from the Pink Panther to Bugs Bunny to Woody Woodpecker. For some reason, though, the syndicated channels I watched didn’t have nearly as many Disney shorts, leaving me to my limited interactions on Sunday nights and those rare occasions when I could catch ‘The Mickey Mouse Show’ in reruns. As such, I don’t have a lot of strong memories of Disney’s biggest stars, other that ‘Der Fuehrer’s Face‘, for some reason. Still, I’ve always had a strong preference for one of them over the other, leading to today’s itadakimasu query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) has always preferred the simmering rage of the lisping duck to the smug satisfaction of the top-tier mouse, asking: Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck?

Always Donald. I know Mickey has always been the poster boy of Disney, but not here. instead of Mickey Mouse, everything Disney has been branded as Donald, including a comic book that’s been published weekly in here since 1952.
Donald is the Batman to Micky’s Superman.
