For my part, I’ve never been comfortable being part of a group that would have me as a member, but I always thought I’d make a really cool Goth Kid, as evidenced by Ethan Suplee in ‘The Butterfly Effect.’  Still, I’ve never really had the guts to spike up my hair and be cool, anymore than I’ve ever been brave enough to wear a Starfleet Uniform (original series) in public.  I did, however, once date a practicing witch, so I’ve got that going for me.  If I were a fictional character, I’d probably be more comfortable as a Darren Stevens type, marrying a werewolf, elf or goth witch rather than being one, leading to today’s completely nonsensical query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) could totally pull off black lipstick and a puffy shirt, asking: Which would you rather be and/or date: Werewolf, Elf or Goth?

Once upon a time, there was a young nerd from the Midwest, who loved Matter-Eater Lad and the McKenzie Brothers... If pop culture were a maze, Matthew would be the Minotaur at its center. Were it a mall, he'd be the Food Court. Were it a parking lot, he’d be the distant Cart Corral where the weird kids gather to smoke, but that’s not important right now... Matthew enjoys body surfing (so long as the bodies are fresh), writing in the third person, and dark-eyed women. Amongst his weaponry are such diverse elements as: Fear! Surprise! Ruthless efficiency! An almost fanatical devotion to pop culture! And a nice red uniform.
