‘Wonder Woman 1984’ to Debut Both on HBO Max and in Theaters

Audiences will get to see ” Wonder Woman 1984″ on Christmas Day after all. After much speculation, Warner Bros. announced that the superhero sequel will debut on the streaming service HBO Max on Dec. 25, the same day it will open in U.S. movie theaters.

‘Black Lightning’ to End After Season 4 on CW

” Black Lightning” will end its run on The CW after its upcoming Season 4. Based on the DC character of the same name, “Black Lightning” centers around Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams), a high school principal who is forced to don his superhero suit once again after years of retirement when a local gang arises and recruits one of his star students.

‘The Last of Us’ Adaptation Ordered to Series at HBO

” The Last of Us” series adaptation has officially been greenlit at HBO. The project was first announced as being in development at the premium cabler back in March. Based on the video game of the same name, the series takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed.

The new series sees the return of the Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko and their sister Dot (voiced respectively by their original voice actors, Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, and Tress MacNeille), and of Pinky and the Brain (voiced by their respective original voice actors Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche). Two seasons were ordered to be produced by Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Animation; the first season premiered on Hulu on November 20, 2020, and the show’s second season will premiere in 2021.
